Celeste Lee Arendse is a fashion designer living in Cape Town, South Africa. She graduated with a fashion design degree from Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2007 and started her own Cape Town based clothing company, Selfi, in 2009. Along with starting her company in 2009, she was also an Elle New Talent finalist. She aims to design women’s wear with an international feel and is inspired by architecture and forms and patterns in nature. She prints her own fabrics and says each garment is designed to represent an innovative twist towards existing women’s apparel.
