Trevor Stuurman is a freelance stylist, blogger and photographer who maintains the blog Stuurman Style Diary. His career started in 2012 when he was selected as ELLE South Africa Style Reporter. Since then his work has also been featured in Glamour, Grazia, and Edgars Club Magazine. Stuurman studied filmmaking at AFDA and completed an exchange program with The Chapman University in Los Angeles which culminated in his production of an documentary about Laduma Ngxokolo that he codirected and produced with Kathrin Ratzek entitled Ubuhle Besintu. The common thread in his many pursuits is a commitment to storytelling. He says, “I love my people and love celebrating them through my photography.”
