Cedric Nzaka is a photo blogger based out of Johannesburg. He uses his Instagram account, @everydaypeoplestories, to share his street fashion photographs. The people in Nzaka’s photographs are often expressive or staring straight ahead at the viewer. Johannesburg’s vibrant street fashions inspire many of the designers in the city. Nzaka’s provides a look into what South African fashion is and what it will become. He offers the following advice to aspiring designers: “Look and learn. You don’t have to go to art school to become a fashion designer. Join a fashion company and push a broom. Work your way up. If you don’t have the right experience to reach your goal, look for another way in. Lastly, keep going… keep growing.”
